Breaking News! Coming this summer, Zillow and Realtor.com will share pre-market listings across both platforms, giving buyers early access to preview homes before they go on their local MLS, and giving sellers more exposure on two of the top home-search platforms.
Zillow Preview was announced at this week’s Zillow Preferred Summit, where Lydia Gable and the Lydia Gable Realty Group had VIP access. A few months ago, Compass and Redfin announced a similar collaboration to share our successful pre-marketing strategies. Since then others have jumped on the bandwagon.
Now, homes entered as Zillow Preview listings will also appear as Preview Listings on Realtor.com. The integration will not require a special login or a brokerage relationship and it will be available to all consumers using either site.

According to Zillow and Housing Wire, preview listings will be labeled as such on both Zillow and Realtor.com and receive enhanced visibility in search results and email alerts. Once a buyer finds a Zillow Preview or Realtor.com Preview listing, they can:
Save the home to receive updates as more details are added
Contact the listing agent with questions before the home goes live
Pre-book a tour for a future date when showings begin
The collaboration is positioned as opt-in and brokerage-driven. Individual agents can decide with their sellers whether to include Zillow Preview as part of their listing strategy.
