For those living in city spaces, growing a kitchen herb garden can be a challenge. With the Glasshouse, by Czech designer Krstyna Pojerova, you not only get fresh herbs but a decor conversation piece too.
Here’s how it works. The herbs are planted inside the glass lamp along its wall in a kind of gutter around a central opening that allows you to easily access your mini-garden. Air holes in the top provide ventilation. The light can easily be controlled with a dimmer switch and no heat need go to waste now that you’re using the energy to heat up your garden.
