As of now, the blue creatures of “Avatar 2” won’t be invading Agoura Hills.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that James Cameron, the film’s director, and 20th Century Fox may not build a studio in Agoura Hills for the “Avatar” sequel after all. It might be relocated to Manhattan Beach instead.
Apparently the city is taking too long to approve the 4,830 square-foot studio set to be built at 29901 Agoura Road.
“Avatar 2” is scheduled to release in December 2014 and “Avatar 3” in 2015.
